It is also advised to take plenty of fluids to avoid dehydration. It contains Ofloxacin, a quinolone antibiotic that inhibits DNA gyrase, which is required for the replication, transcription, and repair of bacterial DNA. Ornidazole inhibits protein synthesis, leading to cell death and ultimately killing the bacteria. Racecadotril works by decreasing the amount of salts and fluids secreted into the intestine, thereby making the stools less watery and helping control diarrhoea.

Drug-Drug Interactions: Vaxflox OR Oral Suspension Pineapple may interact with painkillers (aspirin, ibuprofen), antibiotics (azithromycin, sulfamethoxazole, trimethoprim, metronidazole, erythromycin), a steroid medicine (dexamethasone), an anti-diabetic (metformin), and a water pill (furosemide).
