Vexcetam 100mg Syrup contains Levetiracetam, which works by slowing down the abnormal signals in the brain that cause seizures. It helps by suppressing specific brain sites responsible for abnormal activity and prevents the spread of electrical signals that cause seizures. It reduces the episodes of seizures but does not cure epilepsy.

• Vexcetam 100mg Syrup can be taken with or without food, usually twice a day.
• Use this medicine as directed by your doctor.
• Read the labelled instructions carefully before using it.
• It is suggested to take Vexcetam 100mg Syrup at the same time each day to maintain a consistent level of medicine in the body. Do not stop taking this medicine without consulting your doctor.

Do not take Vexcetam 100mg Syrup if you are allergic to any of its active ingredients, suffer from lung disease, liver disease, glaucoma, or have difficulty sleeping (sleep apnoea). Vexcetam 100mg Syrup can cause severe allergic reactions (anaphylaxis), which can be life-threatening.
