Welcerin Plus Tablet 10's

Welcerin Plus Tablet 10's is used to reduce the pain of osteoarthritis (OA). Osteoarthritis is a chronic (lifelong) joint condition in which glucosamine sulfate (a chemical found in the human body, especially in joints) gets reduced. When this chemical gets reduced, the cartilage breaks down and becomes thin, which causes friction between the bones, leading to wear and tear (damage) of the joint tissues. Symptoms include pain, stiffness, inflammation of the joints, and reduced locomotion.

Welcerin Plus Tablet 10's contains Diacerein, Dimethyl sulfoxide, and Glucosamine. Diacerein slows down the breakdown of cartilage and helps to reduce pain and swelling. Dimethyl sulfoxide reduces the inflammation of the joints. Glucosamine reduces the breakdown of cartilage and helps to repair joints. Together, Welcerin Plus Tablet 10's can lower pain, swelling, and inflammation of the joints.

You should take this medicine as your doctor has instructed. The common side-effects of Welcerin Plus Tablet 10's are headache, tiredness, nausea, abdominal pain, indigestion, onion-like taste in the mouth, diarrhoea, discolouration of the urine, constipation, and wind (flatulence). These side effects are usually mild and temporary. However, if any of these side effects persist or get worse, inform your doctor immediately.

It is not recommended to take Welcerin Plus Tablet 10's if you are allergic to any of its contents, shellfish, or soya. Before taking Welcerin Plus Tablet 10's, inform your doctor if you have glucose intolerance, liver or kidney disease, high cholesterol, asthma, bladder or kidney cancer, and vision problems. It is not recommended for use in children, pregnant women, and breastfeeding mothers. It should be used with caution in the elderly. Avoid alcohol consumption as it may increase the risk of side effects. Welcerin Plus Tablet 10's may decrease alertness, so do not drive or operate heavy machinery if you are not fully alert.

Welcerin Plus Tablet 10's may cause high cholesterol, so it should be used with caution in patients with heart disease risk. Welcerin Plus Tablet 10's may worsen the symptoms of asthma. You may notice discoloration of urine and an onion-like taste in the mouth. However, these effects are mild and do not require medical attention. If you notice any changes in vision while using Welcerin Plus Tablet 10's, inform your doctor immediately as this medicine may increase pressure in the eye.
