Cefadroxil works by preventing the formation of bacterial cell covering, which is necessary for their survival. Thereby, kills the bacteria. Clavulanic acid works by decreasing bacterial resistance and enhancing the activity of Cefadroxil against the bacteria. Together, Zadro CV 500 mg/125 mg Tablet helps to treat bacterial infections.

Zadro CV 500 mg/125 mg Tablet may cause Clostridium difficile-associated diarrhoea (CDAD). Drink lots of fluids and eat non-spicy food if you experience diarrhoea. If you find blood in stools (tarry stools) or if you experience prolonged diarrhoea with abdominal pain, stop taking Zadro CV 500 mg/125 mg Tablet and consult your doctor. Do not take anti-diarrheal medicine on your own.
Do not stop taking Zadro CV 500 mg/125 mg Tablet despite symptomatic relief.
