About Zycolchin Tablet
Zycolchin Tablet is used to prevent and treat gout attacks and relieve the pain of gout attacks. It is also used to treat familial Mediterranean fever. Additionally, colchicine is also used to reduce the risk of heart attack, stroke, cardiovascular death, and needing certain types of heart procedures such as angioplasty or coronary artery bypass grafting, in patients who have atherosclerosis or who have multiple risk factors for developing heart and blood vessel disease.
Zycolchin Tablet contains Colchicine, which works by stopping the natural processes that cause swelling and other symptoms of gout and familial Mediterranean fever. It helps lower the risk of heart problems and stroke by inhibiting white blood cells that cause inflammation.
In some cases, Zycolchin Tablet may cause side effects like diarrhoea, nausea, vomiting, and abdominal pain. Most of these side effects may not need medical attention and gradually resolve over time. However, if any of the side effects persist or worsen, consult your doctor.
Do not take Zycolchin Tablet if you are allergic to any of its components. Inform the doctor if you have a blood disorder, liver/kidney/heart problems, or are pregnant or breastfeeding. Zycolchin Tablet is not a pain killer and should not be used to treat pain due to other causes. Do not take Zycolchin Tablet if you're allergic to any of its components, if you have severe blood problems, severe liver or kidney problems, or are undergoing dialysis.
