Affical Capsule belongs to the class of nutritional supplements primarily used to treat nutritional deficiencies. Affical Capsule effectively treats various conditions caused by low calcium levels in the body, such as osteoporosis (weak and brittle bones), osteomalacia/rickets (weak bones), hypoparathyroidism (low levels of parathyroid hormone), and latent tetany (a muscle disease with low blood calcium levels).
Affical Capsule is a dietary supplement that prevents and treats calcium deficiency. It consists of Calcium, Calcitriol, and Vitamin K2-7. It works by replenishing low calcium levels, maintaining bone density, and promoting calcium transport from the bloodstream into the bone.
Milk is considered to be the best source of calcium. You can take Affical Capsule with milk.
Affical Capsule may cause kidney stones due to excess calcium deposition when used for a prolonged period. Please consult your doctor before taking Affical Capsule as a daily supplement if you have any kidney problems or a history of kidney stones.
Affical Capsule is used to increase low levels of calcium in the body. Hence, it is not advised to use Affical Capsule during hypercalcemia since it causes the overdose of calcium, leading to kidney stones and other effects.
Calcitriol in Affical Capsule may lead to calcium deposition in patients undergoing dialysis. Hence, it should be used cautiously and only if advised by the doctor. It is advised to follow a low-phosphate diet to control serum phosphorus levels in dialysis patients.
If you miss a dose, take it as soon as you remember. However, if it is time for the next scheduled dose, skip the missed dose and follow your usual dosage.
