Buglac Gargle

Buglac Gargle is an antiseptic and disinfectant used to treat a sore throat. It also treats and prevents infections of the mouth and throat lining, such as gingivitis (inflammation of the gums) and mouth ulcers. Buglac Gargle is also used to cleanse the mouth for preparation of the oral mucosa before any injection, dental surgery or tooth extraction. 

Buglac Gargle contains Povidone iodine, which works by killing harmful microbes and reducing inflammation. It supports quicker healing, alleviates pain, and helps prevent further infection.

Buglac Gargle may cause common side effects, such as mouth or throat irritation, dryness of the mouth and throat, and a burning sensation. These side effects gradually resolve over time and do not require medical attention. However, if the side effects persist longer, please seek medical help.

Please tell your doctor if you are undergoing any lithium therapy or treatment involving radioactive iodine. Do not use Buglac Gargle before or after radioiodine scintigraphy or radioiodine treatment of thyroid carcinoma. Please consult your doctor if you are pregnant, planning to conceive or are a lactating mother.

• Treats Gingivitis: Buglac Gargle helps reduce inflammation of the gums and controls gum infections effectively.

• Dilute Buglac Gargle with an equal volume of water and rinse or gargle for 30 seconds, and then spit out.
• Shake well before use.
• Do not swallow it.

• Do not use Buglac Gargle if you are allergic to povidone-iodine.
• Let your doctor know if you have an overactive thyroid gland (hyperthyroidism) or any other thyroid diseases (nodular colloid goitre, endemic goitre or Hashimoto’s thyroiditis), liver, or kidney problems.
• Please consult your doctor if you are pregnant, planning to conceive or are a lactating mother before using Buglac Gargle.
• Buglac Gargle should be used in children under twelve years of age only when the doctor has advised it.
