Fervica-XT Tablet 10's is used to treat anaemia (lack of blood) that occurs mainly due to poor diet, poor absorption of food, or increased folate use in the body (in pregnancy). Anaemia is a condition in which the body does not have enough red blood cells to carry adequate oxygen to various tissues throughout the body.

Fervica-XT Tablet 10's is a combination of two drugs: Ferrous ascorbate and folic acid. Fervica-XT Tablet 10's works by increasing the production of red blood cells (RBCs) and haemoglobin (a protein) in the body. As a result, an adequate number of RBCs is produced in the body so that each tissue gets a sufficient supply of oxygen.

Not everyone who is taking Fervica-XT Tablet 10's will get these side effects. In some cases, you may experience vomiting, nausea, stomach upset or dark coloured stool. Most of these side effects of Fervica-XT Tablet 10's do not require medical attention and typically resolve on their own over time. However, if the side effects persist or worsen, please consult your doctor.

Take Fervica-XT Tablet 10's orally 1 hour before food or 2 hours after food or as directed by your doctor, typically once daily in the morning. The dosage of the medicine is based on your medical condition and response to treatment. To help you remember, take it at the same time each day. It is advised to complete your treatment course for better results.

If you are allergic to Fervica-XT Tablet 10's or any other medicines, please tell your doctor. Let your doctor know if you are pregnant or breastfeeding before using Fervica-XT Tablet 10's. Fervica-XT Tablet 10's should be used with caution in children and only if recommended by a doctor. Fervica-XT Tablet 10's may contain lactose. Therefore, inform your doctor if you have an allergy to any sugars before taking Fervica-XT Tablet 10's. Also, let your doctor know if you have a history of stomach ulcers, vitamin B12 deficiency, any blood disorders, repeated blood transfusions, ulcerative colitis (inflammation of the colon), pernicious anaemia (anaemia due to a lack of vitamin B12), or folate-dependent tumours.

• Recommended to take on an empty stomach 1 hour before or 2 hours after meals or as advised by your doctor. • Follow your doctor's instructions on the dosage and timing of this medication, to ensure the safety. • Swallow the medicine as a whole with glass of water. • Do not crush, break, or chew it.

• Fervica-XT Tablet 10's contains Ferrous ascorbate (iron supplement) and folic acid (a form of vitamin B9), which works by increasing red blood cells (RBC) and haemoglobin (a protein) production in the body.
• It helps produce an adequate number of RBCs in the body, ensuring that the body's tissues receive a sufficient supply of oxygen.
• Also, folic acid is necessary in pregnancy, as it plays a role in the development of the brain and spinal cord in the unborn baby.

• Avoid taking Fervica-XT Tablet 10's if you are allergic to any of its contents. Fervica-XT Tablet 10's may contain lactose as an excipient. Therefore, inform your doctor if you have an allergy to any sugars before taking Fervica-XT Tablet 10's.
