About Lox-2%W/V Jelly 10gm

Lox-2%W/V Jelly 10gm belongs to the class of local anaesthetics known as 'numbing medication'. Lox-2%W/V Jelly 10gm produces local numbness by blocking the nerve signal in the affected area.  It is available in the form of injection and topical (gel/cream). Lox-2%W/V Jelly 10gm injection is used to reduce pain and discomfort caused by invasive medical procedures such as surgery, needle punctures, or insertion of a breathing tube or catheter. Lox-2%W/V Jelly 10gm is also used to treat irregular heart rhythms. It is also used to reduce the discomfort of contractions during labour. Lox-2%W/V Jelly 10gm topical is used to reduce discomfort and pain caused by skin irritations and haemorrhoids (piles). Pain is a symptom triggered by the nervous system, which causes uncomfortable sensations in the body. Pain may be dull or sharp; it might be constant or may come and go. The tolerance level of pain might vary from person to person.
 
Lox-2%W/V Jelly 10gm blocks the influx (entry) of sodium ions into the membrane that surrounds the nerves, thereby preventing initiation and conduction of impulses. Hence, it gives an anaesthetic effect and helps decrease the sensation of pain.
 
The injection form of Lox-2%W/V Jelly 10gm will be administered by a healthcare professional. Do not self-administer. On the other hand, a topical form of Lox-2%W/V Jelly 10gm should take a pea-sized amount onto your finger and applied onto the affected area and gently massage it in. You are advised to take Lox-2%W/V Jelly 10gm for as long as your doctor has prescribed it for you, depending on your medical condition. In some cases, you may experience certain common side-effects such as reactions at the application site (burning, itching, redness, and irritation), nausea, vomiting, and allergy.
