About Oldid-V Vaginal gel

Oldid-V Vaginal gel is used to treat vaginal thrush (candidiasis). Vaginal thrush (candidiasis) is an infection of the vagina and/or vulva caused by candida.

Oldid-V Vaginal gel comprises clotrimazole, which works by destroying the fungus that causes the infection. Oldid-V Vaginal gel eliminates the infection by causing holes in the fungal cell membrane and allows the components to leak out, thus killing the fungus.

Use Oldid-V Vaginal gel as recommended by the physician. In some cases, Oldid-V Vaginal gel may cause abdominal pain, vulvovaginal pain, nausea, and application site reactions, including itching, burning sensation, and irritation. These side effects of Oldid-V Vaginal gel eventually subside without medical intervention. Consult your doctor immediately if any side effects worsen or persist.

Do not use Oldid-V Vaginal gel if you are hypersensitive or allergic to any of its components. Oldid-V Vaginal gel is for vaginal use only. Do not swallow.   • Limit or cut down your consumption of alcohol and caffeine.
