• Hold the meter at a slight angle and guide the channel to the blood drop.
• Once it touches your sample, the test strip will wick blood into the channel until it fills completely.
• The channel will turn red and the meter will count down from 5 to 1.
• Do not apply blood on the top or to the top edge of the test strip.
