• Insert the OneTouch Verio Test Strip into the test strip port of your OneTouch Verio Flex Glucometer with the gold side of the strip and the two silver prongs facing you.
• Wait until the Apply Blood screen appears on the display.
• Apply your blood sample to either side of the test strip, at the opening of the channel. Do this immediately after you get a drop of blood.
• Hold the meter at a slight angle and guide the channel to the blood drop.
• Once it touches your sample, the test strip will wick blood into the channel until it fills completely.
