About Renoxia Tablet

Renoxia Tablet is used in the treatment of diabetic nephropathy (diabetic kidney disease). Diabetic nephropathy is kidney damage resulting from diabetes. It is a major cause of kidney failure. 

Renoxia Tablet contains Taurine and Acetylcysteine, which belong to the antioxidant class. This medication functions by shielding the kidneys from damage caused by dangerous substances (free radicals), hence assisting in the reduction of free radical generation that damages tissue. 

Renoxia Tablet may cause certain side effects such as nausea, vomiting, diarrhoea, drowsiness, fever, abdominal pain, and rash. If these side effects persist, consult your doctor immediately. Take Renoxia Tablet as prescribed by your doctor.

Do not take Renoxia Tablet if you are allergic to any of its components. Before taking Renoxia Tablet , inform your doctor if you have any history of asthma, liver or kidney diseases, or any allergic reactions. Also, inform your doctor if you are pregnant or breastfeeding before taking Renoxia Tablet .

Directions for Use

Take Renoxia Tablet as prescribed by your doctor. Swallow the medicine as a whole with a glass of water. Do not crush, chew, or break the medicine. The dose and duration of medicine will be decided by the doctor based on your doctor.

What if I have taken an overdose of Renoxia Tablet

Drug Warnings

Do not take Renoxia Tablet if you are allergic to any of its components. Before taking Renoxia Tablet , inform your doctor if you have any history of asthma, liver, or kidney diseases, or any allergic reactions. Also, inform your doctor if you are pregnant or breastfeeding before taking Renoxia Tablet . Renoxia Tablet increases the risk of Steven-Johnson syndrome and Lyell syndrome, characterized by severe skin rashes. So, stop taking this medication and consult your doctor immediately if you notice skin rashes. Renoxia Tablet is not recommended for use in children below 12 years of age.
