Retinox Capsule 10's

Retinox Capsule is used to prevent eye diseases, such as ARMD (Age-related macular degeneration), high ocular pressure, and cataracts. It consists of Lutein, Zeaxanthin, Astaxanthin, and Omega-3 fatty acids. When the ocular lens is exposed to oxygen, dust and light rays, it leads to the formation of free radicals that affect the vision. This supplement is an antioxidant that prevents the eye damage caused due to such free radicals and maintains the healthy functioning of the eye. Lutein and Zeaxanthin are the carotenoids that filter the high energy blue light exposed onto the eye.

• Lutein is a carotenoid (plant pigment) with anti-inflammatory properties. It is also an antioxidant and ensures better vision and eye health. It is used to treat and prevent various eye diseases.
• Zeaxanthin is a carotenoid that protects the eyes from damage caused due to high-intensity light, such as ultraviolet rays and oxidation. It protects the vision cells and aids to slow down the degeneration of the eye’s macula (part of the retina at the back of the eye).
• Astaxanthin promotes eye health and alleviates the symptoms of age-related eye diseases, such as diabetic retinopathy, ARMD, glaucoma, and cataract. It also helps remove the toxins and waste out of the eye efficiently by increasing the blood flow velocity to the eyeball and retina.
• Omega-3 Fatty Acids reduce the risk of developing macular degeneration and glaucoma. It is also helpful in preventing dry eye syndrome.

Swallow the capsule as a whole with a glass of water, preferably with meals or as directed by the physician. Do not try to break/crush/chew it. Take it in the dose and duration prescribed by your doctor. Please do not take more than the daily recommended dosage. 

Side effects

This medicine is usually safe to consume and do not show any side effects.

Let your doctor know if you have any liver, kidney or heart problems, allergic reactions to medicines or a surgery scheduled before starting this supplement. Inform your doctor in advance if you are pregnant, planning to conceive or breastfeeding before using the medication. If you feel dizzy/sleepy while using this medicine, it is advised to avoid driving and operating machinery until you feel better. Limit or avoid alcohol intake while using this medicine to minimize interactions and occurrence of side effects. Keep the medicine out of reach of children and pets. Store in a cool, dry place, protected from direct sunlight and heat.
