Waxokem Ear Drop

Waxokem Ear Drop is used for Softening impacted earwax. The detailed uses of Waxokem Ear Drop are as follows:

• Soften and remove impacted earwax: Waxokem Ear Drop is primarily used to dissolve hardened earwax, making it easier to remove and preventing ear blockage. It helps relieve symptoms like ear fullness, discomfort, and temporary hearing loss caused by wax buildup.
• Relieve pain and irritation in the ear canal: Waxokem Ear Drop contains Benzocaine, a local anesthetic that numbs the ear canal and reduces pain and itching associated with earwax impaction or minor ear inflammation.
• Prevent infection and lubricate the ear: Waxokem Ear Drop includes Chlorbutol, which acts as an antiseptic and wax softener, and Turpentine Oil, which provides lubrication and aids in the smooth removal of earwax while soothing the ear canal.

Waxokem Ear Drop is a combination of four medicines: Paradichlorobenzene, Benzocaine, Chlorbutol, and Turpentine oil. Paradichlorobenzene acts as a hydrating agent. It softens the ear wax by reducing its thickness. Benzocaine acts as a local anaesthetic and prevents pain by blocking the pain signals. Chlorbutol acts as a wax softener and an antibacterial. Turpentine oil acts as a lubricating agent and aids in the removal of earwax. Thereby, Waxokem Ear Drop can effectively soften the earwax without pain, discomfort, or any requirement of difficult procedures.

• Follow your doctor's recommendations on the dosage and timing of this medication to achieve optimal results.
• Lie down with the affected ear facing upwards. Hold the dropper over the ear and instil the advised number of drops into the ear. Continue to lie on your side for two minutes to allow the drops to reach the base of the ear canal. Repeat the procedure for the other ear if needed.
• Do not touch the dropper to the ear or surrounding areas to avoid contamination.

• Avoid heavy use of headphones as it may increase the build-up of earwax.
• Do not use cotton swabs, bobby pins, or any other objects to remove earwax as it may push wax much deeper into the ear leading to damage to the ear.
• Never put cold water into your ear and avoid spraying liquids with force into the ear.
• Consult an ENT regularly for early detection of any ear problems.

Do not use Waxokem Ear Drop if you notice any swelling, discharge from the ears, or tinnitus (ringing sounds in the ears), as it may indicate ear inflammation. While instilling the ear drops, do not push the dropper into the ear. Waxokem Ear Drop is not recommended for use in children below one year of age. Before taking Waxokem Ear Drop, inform your doctor if you have hearing problems (including deafness), intestinal problems (including blockage, swelling, ulcers), kidney problems, myasthenia gravis (neuromuscular disease), and Parkinson's disease.
