Zoamet Nasal Spray 10 ml

Zoamet Nasal Spray is primarily used to treat nasal congestion (stuffy nose) caused by hay fever (allergic rhinitis), common colds, flu, sinusitis, or other allergic conditions. Nasal congestion, also known as a stuffy nose, occurs when the nasal passages become swollen with excess mucus and fluid.

Zoamet Nasal Spray contains Oxymetazoline, a nasal decongestant that works by contracting and narrowing the blood vessels in the linings of the nasal passages.

The common side effects are irritation or dryness of the nasal mucosa (tissue lining the nasal cavity), local burning sensation, headache, and nausea. Most of these side effects do not require medical attention and gradually resolve over time. However, if the side effects persist,inform your doctor immediately.

Use Zoamet Nasal Spray as prescribed by your doctor/paediatrician. You are advised to use Zoamet Nasal Spray for as long as your doctor has prescribed it based on your medical condition. Do not give more than the recommended dose of Zoamet Nasal Spray.

Inform your doctor if you are allergic to Zoamet Nasal Spray. Do not use any other medications or supplements with Zoamet Nasal Spray unless prescribed by the doctor. Avoid sharing Zoamet Nasal Spray with other people to prevent the spread of infection. Do not exceed the stated recommended dose. Zoamet Nasal Spray is not recommended for use in children below 12 years of age.

• Follow your doctor's instructions on the dosage and timing of this medication.
• Insert the tip of the bottle into a nostril while closing the other nostril and spray towards the sides of the nostril. Keep your head straight and breathe gently. Repeat the same process for another nostril.
• Zoamet Nasal Spray is only for use in the nose. Do not swallow the medication.
• Do not share it with anyone else to prevent the spread of infection. Rinse the dispenser tip with hot water or wipe it clean after use.
• Do not use more or less of it or more often than prescribed by your doctor or as directed on the label.
