BENZYL ALCOHOL+SERTACONAZOLE NITRATE is a combination of two drugs, namely: Sertaconazole nitrate (antifungal) and Benzyl alcohol (preservative). Sertaconazole nitrate belongs to the class of antifungals that works by damaging the fungal cell membranes which are necessary for their survival. Thereby kills fungi. Benzyl alcohol acts as a preservative.
