Do not use BUSERELIN if you are allergic to any of its components, if you have abnormal menstrual bleeding, if you are pregnant or breastfeeding or if you have had an operation to remove testicles. Stop using BUSERELIN and consult the doctor immediately if you become pregnant while on treatment with BUSERELIN. Inform the doctor if you have depression, high blood pressure, diabetes, polycystic ovarian disease, heart/blood vessel conditions, heart rhythm problems, metabolic bone disease or risk factors for osteoporosis like smoking, chronic alcohol abuse, a family history of osteoporosis, or if you are on long-term treatment with corticosteroids or anticonvulsants. Stop using BUSERELIN and consult a doctor immediately if you experience symptoms of serious side effect called ovarian hyperstimulation syndrome, such as diarrhoea, weight gain, difficulty breathing, shortness of breath, passing less urine, feeling sick or being sick, pain, swelling or a feeling of tension in your stomach. Ovarian hyperstimulation syndrome is more likely to occur if you are taking other hormones along with BUSERELIN as a part of infertility treatment. Consult the doctor straight away if you notice bruising more easily than usual, signs of infections (fever, sore throat or mouth ulcers), severe headache, eyesight problems, or high blood pressure (crushing chest pain, problems with eyesight, confusion, tiredness and an uneven heartbeat).

Drug-Drug Interactions: Inform the doctor if you are taking medicines for heart rhythm problems (quinidine, procainamide, amiodarone, sotalol), pain killers (methadone), antibiotics (moxifloxacin), anti-diabetics, and antipsychotics.

Drug-Disease Interactions: Inform the doctor if you have depression, high blood pressure, diabetes, polycystic ovarian disease (PCOD), heart rhythm problems, or metabolic bone disease.

• Include fibrous foods, iron-rich foods, foods rich in essential fatty acids, and anti-oxidant-rich foods in the diet.
• Practice meditation and yoga. 
• Avoid or limit caffeine intake.
• Include healthy fruits and vegetables in your diet.
• Avoid smoking and alcohol consumption.
• Try relaxation therapy. Read a book or listen to soothing music.
• Exercise moderately.
• Do yoga or meditation, as it helps relieve stress.

• The use of this medicine may lead to positive results in doping tests. Additionally, misuse as a doping agent may harm your health.
• BUSERELIN might affect certain blood test results; particularly, it may affect the levels of liver enzymes and fats in the blood shown in blood tests. Therefore, if you are undergoing any tests, inform the doctor that you are on treatment with BUSERELIN.
• Regular monitoring of blood pressure and blood glucose levels is advised.
• Women are recommended to have a pregnancy test to make sure they are not pregnant before using BUSERELIN.
• Do not father a child during treatment with BUSERELIN and for a few months afterwards, as it might harm the developing baby in the womb. Discuss with your doctor regarding effective contraception.
• The doctor may advise regular blood tests before and during the treatment to check the levels of testosterone, blood levels, and liver/kidney functioning.
