CINCHOCAINE HYDROCHLORIDE+POLICRESULEN is used to relieve the pain, discomfort and itchiness associated with anal fissure and haemorrhoids (piles). Cinchocaine hydrochloride is a local anaesthetic that blocks the transmission of impulses across nerves, thereby easing the sensation of pain. It inactivates the sodium channels in the nerve cell membrane, thereby preventing the sodium-induced activation of the cell and precluding any transmission of nerve impulses that produce the sensation of pain.
