HYPROMELLOSE+SODIUM PERBORATE is a combination of two drugs, namely: Hypromellose and Sodium perborate. Hypromellose acts as a lubricant that works as natural tears and helps in providing relief from burning sensation, dryness, and discomfort. Sodium perborate is an oxidative preservative with antimicrobial properties. Together, HYPROMELLOSE+SODIUM PERBORATE helps in treating dry eyes.
You are advised to use HYPROMELLOSE+SODIUM PERBORATE for as long as your doctor has prescribed it for you depending on your medical condition. In some cases, HYPROMELLOSE+SODIUM PERBORATE may cause common side effects such as pain, irritation, blurred vision, and redness of the eye. Most of these side effects do not require medical attention and will resolve gradually over time. However, you are advised to talk to your doctor if you experience these side effects persistently.

Do not use HYPROMELLOSE+SODIUM PERBORATE if you are allergic to any of its components. Talk to your doctor if the irritation persists or worsens despite using HYPROMELLOSE+SODIUM PERBORATE for 3 days; if you have eye pain or headache, if your vision changes, if there is continued redness while using HYPROMELLOSE+SODIUM PERBORATE or if you develop an eye infection while using HYPROMELLOSE+SODIUM PERBORATE. Inform your doctor if you have closed-angle glaucoma, high blood pressure, diabetes, eye infection or injury, hyperthyroidism, heart, kidney or liver problems.
