Aura is a phase before the start of a migraine headache that involves numbness, speech, or vision disorders. Rimegepant contains Rimegepant, which works by blocking the calcitonin gene-related peptide (CGRP) receptors. It thereby helps relieve the pain of migraine headaches.
Common side effects of Rimegepant include chest pain, indigestion, dry mouth, drowsiness, nausea, or flushing (redness, warmth, or tingling sensation). Most of these side effects do not require medical attention. However, if the side effects persist or worsen, please consult your doctor.
