Do not take TEGAFUR+GIMERACIL+OTERACIL if you are allergic to any of its components, if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, if you have a history of severe and unexpected reactions to fluoropyrimidine therapy, known dihydropyrimidine dehydrogenase (DPD) deficiency, severe bone marrow suppression, or end-stage renal disease requiring dialysis. Inform the doctor if you have bone marrow suppression, diarrhoea, dehydration, kidney or liver problems, or eye toxicity. TEGAFUR+GIMERACIL+OTERACIL is not recommended for use in children below 18 years. Let the doctor know if you take other medicines, including supplements and herbal products.

Drug-Drug Interactions: Inform the doctor if you are taking fluoropyrimidines (capecitabine, 5-FU, flucytosine), CYP2A6 inhibitors, or anti-viral agents (sorivudine, brivudine).

Drug-Food Interactions: No interactions found/established.

Drug-Disease Interactions: Inform the doctor if you have bone marrow suppression, end-stage kidney disease, glucose/galactose intolerance, or malabsorption.

• Light exercises are recommended as they promote mobility, balance, and well-being.
• Rest well when you are feeling tired.
• Maintain adequate hydration unless informed by the doctor to restrict fluids.
• Avoid drinking fluid with meals, particularly carbonated beverages.
• Do not consume caffeine, spicy and processed foods.
• Limit alcohol consumption and avoid smoking.
• Include fruits, vegetables, and whole grains in your diet.
• Maintain a healthy body weight.
• Cut down on salty foods.

• Women of childbearing potential are advised to avoid becoming pregnant during treatment with TEGAFUR+GIMERACIL+OTERACIL. Consult the doctor immediately if you become pregnant during treatment.

• Both male and female patients should take contraceptive measures during treatment and for 6 months after stopping the treatment.
