Frenin Injection 1 ml is used to treat hypotension (low blood pressure) caused by spinal anaesthesia, circulatory failure or certain other medicines. It also treats low blood pressure during surgery or after an injury.  It contains phenylephrine, which constricts and narrows blood vessels by acting on alpha receptors. Thus, it increases blood pressure and decreases heart rate. Common side effects of Frenin Injection 1 ml are headache, vomiting, sweating, nervousness, tremors, shortness of breath, difficulty passing urine or irregular heartbeat.
