Gatilox DM Eye Drops is used in the treatment of bacterial eye infections or eye discomfort, especially in patients who have undergone eye surgeries. It also decreases the risk of eye infections such as conjunctivitis (inflammation of the conjunctiva) and other inflammatory conditions of the eye (cornea, iris, and connective tissue) in postoperative patients. It contains Gatifloxacin and Dexamethasone, which kill bacteria that cause infection and reduces inflammation and symptoms associated with infection such as redness and irritation. It may cause common side effects such as red eyes, eye pain, dry eye, watery eyes, and change in taste. Before using this medicine, you should tell your doctor if you are allergic to any of its components or if you are pregnant/breastfeeding, and about all the medications you are taking and pre-existing medical conditions.
