Montek FX Tablet is used to treat allergic symptoms like sneezing, runny nose, congestion, stuffy nose or watery eyes. It contains Montelukast and Fexofenadine, which work by blocking the action of histamine, a substance responsible for causing allergic reactions. Some people may experience drowsiness, headache, skin rash, diarrhoea, nausea, vomiting, dizziness and fever. Before taking this medicine, you should tell your doctor if you are allergic to any of its components or if you are pregnant/breastfeeding, and about all the medications you are taking and pre-existing medical conditions.

Indigestion

Drug-Drug Interaction: Montek FX Tablet may interact with drugs used to treat high lipid levels (gemfibrozil), antibiotics (rifampicin, erythromycin), anticonvulsants (phenytoin, phenobarbital), and antifungals (ketoconazole).

Drug-Food Interaction: Avoid consuming certain fruit juices such as orange, apple and grapefruit with Montek FX Tablet as it may reduce the effectiveness of Montek FX Tablet . Also, avoid intake of alcohol with Montek FX Tablet as it may increase drowsiness.

Drug-Disease Interaction: If you have Lapp lactase deficiency, galactose intolerance or glucose-galactose malabsorption, fits, kidney, liver, or heart problems, inform your doctor before taking Montek FX Tablet .
