Steplor 4mg Tablet is used to relieve pain and inflammation associated with osteoarthritis and rheumatoid arthritis. It contains Lornoxicam which works by blocking the effect of chemical messengers that cause pain and inflammation. In some cases, this medicine may cause side effects such as dizziness, diarrhoea, nausea, headache, vomiting, stomach upset and abdominal pain. Inform the doctor if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, taking any other medication, or have any pre-existing medical conditions.

Headache

Drink water or other clear fluids.
To prevent worsening of pain, limit intake of tea, coffee, or alcohol.
Include bland foods like rice, toast, crackers, and rice in your diet.
Avoid lying down immediately after eating as it may cause indigestion or heartburn.
Avoid acidic and spicy food as it may cause indigestion.

Drug-Drug Interactions: Steplor 4mg Tablet may interact with a blood thinner (warfarin, heparin, phenprocoumon), immunosuppressant (tacrolimus, cyclosporine), pain killers (aspirin), antacid (cimetidine), anti-rheumatoid (methotrexate), anti-psychotic (lithium), cardiac glycoside (digoxin), anti-diabetic (glibenclamide), antibiotic (rifampicin), anti-fungal (fluconazole), anti-cancer (pemetrexed), diuretics, ACE inhibitors, beta-adrenergic blocking agents, anti-depressants, and corticosteroids.
