Astepod CV Dry Syrup is an antibiotic medicine used in the treatment of bacterial infections such as pharyngitis/tonsillitis, otitis media, sinusitis, community-acquired pneumonia, gonorrhoea, anorectal infections in women, skin, and urinary tract infections. This medicine contains cefpodoxime and clavulanic acid which works by inhibiting the protein synthesis of the bacterial cell and thereby helps fight infection-causing bacteria. This medicine is not effective for treating viral infections. Common side effects include nausea, vomiting, stomach pain, loss of appetite, dizziness, and headache.
