Duphaston 10Mg Tab is used in the treatment of disorders like dysmenorrhea, endometriosis, infertility, irregular menstrual cycles, and premenstrual syndrome that are linked to progesterone deficiency. It can be used in conjunction with estrogen for hormone replacement therapy or in the treatment of dysfunctional bleeding or secondary amenorrhea. It contains Dydrogesterone, which is a female hormone that controls women's ovulation and menstruation. It causes secretive changes in the uterus's endometrium lining, promotes the breast's development, relaxes the uterus, blocks the maturation and release of the follicle, and retains pregnancy. It may cause side effects such as breast tenderness, swelling in other parts of the body, headaches, migraines, mood swings, depression, acne, tummy (abdominal) pain, back pain, and vaginal bleeding.

Side effects of Duphaston 10 mg Tablet

Recurrent Severe Headache

Lie down or take a nap in dark and quiet room.
To avoid dehydration, drink plenty of fluids.
In case of mild to moderate migraine, you can take over-the-counter pain relievers like paracetamol or ibuprofen.

Tell your doctor before using the Duphaston 10 mg Tablet 30's if you have had a heart attack, stroke, blood clot, liver problems, kidney problems, pregnant, breastfeeding or planning to get pregnant, asthma (wheezing), epilepsy (seizures), diabetes, migraine, endometriosis, lupus, heart problems, thyroid, or have high calcium levels in your blood. Use caution while driving a motor vehicle, as dizziness or drowsiness may occur.
