Glicrite XR 30 Tablet is used to treat type 2 diabetes mellitus when diet and exercise alone cannot control blood sugar levels. It contains Gliclazide, which works by increasing the amount of insulin released by the pancreas. It stimulates insulin secretion from the pancreas and decreases blood sugar levels. It prevents the blood glucose level from rising, thus keeping your blood sugar level under control. In some cases, you may experience certain common side effects, such a stomach ache or indigestion, nausea, vomiting, and constipation. Before taking this medicine, you should tell your doctor if you are allergic to any of its components or if you are pregnant/breastfeeding, and about all the medications you are taking and pre-existing medical conditions.
