Do I need to take rabies vaccine again after a cat bite (not sure if it was a bite or claw, not a deep wound but bleeding, with no two‑spot bite marks) on my leg near the ankle, given that I have already taken 3 doses and my last scheduled dose is on May 16?

Since you are already in the middle of your vaccination course, you generally do not need to restart the full series, but you should continue and complete your remaining scheduled dose on May 16. Hey I got bitten by my cat on April 18th 2026.the bite was minor that it healed within 3 days .the question I need to ask is that i got a scratch from my cat on February 20th 2026 and i took the 4 PEP shots .the new bit was happened after this like within three months ...so do in need to take boosters right now.
