ANZOCALM TABLET is used in the treatment of anxiety disorder with high blood pressure.

ANZOCALM TABLET comes as a tablet taken by mouth with or without food. Always take this medicine exactly as directed by your doctor.

ANZOCALM TABLET • Alprazolam is a benzodiazepine works by increasing the action of GABA, a chemical messenger which suppresses the abnormal and excessive activity of the nerve cells in brain.
• Propranolol is a beta blocker which by blocking the action of certain chemical messengers on the heart and blood vessels. This reduces heart rate, blood pressure and strain on the heart.

Pregnancy: is only recommended for use during pregnancy when the benefit outweighs the risk to the fetus.
Consult your doctor before use.
Alcohol: Avoid drinking alcohol.
Driving: may make you feel dizzy and impair your activities after administration. Do not drive or use machines until these effects will clear.
Kidney: Use with caution in patients with renal impairment. Consult your doctor before use.
LIver: Use with caution in patients with hepatic impairment as this medicine is extensively metabolized by the liver and dosage adjustment may be required. Consult your doctor before use.

• Do not use this medicine if you are allergic to it.
• You should not use this medicine if you have following given medical conditions:
- asthma
- very slow heart beats that have caused you to faint
- a serious heart condition such as "sick sinus syndrome" or "AV block" (unless you have a pacemaker)
- a muscle disorder
- bronchitis
- emphysema or other breathing disorders
- low blood sugar or diabetes (propranolol can make it harder for you to tell when you have low blood sugar)
- slow heartbeats
- low blood pressure
- congestive heart failure
- depression
- liver or kidney disease
- a thyroid disorder
- pheochromocytoma (tumor of the adrenal gland)
- problems with circulation (such as Raynaud's syndrome)
- seizures or epilepsy
- open-angle glaucoma
- a history of depression or suicidal thoughts or behavior
- a history of drug or alcohol addiction
