25 D Infusion is used for fluid replacement and dehydration. Also, it may be used to treat very low blood sugar in diabetic patients. It contains Dextrose which acts as a source of water and calories and increases blood sugar levels. In some cases, it may cause side effects such as tenderness or pain at the injection site and flushing. Let the doctor know if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, taking any other medication, or have any pre-existing medical conditions.
