Acenext Mr Tablet is used for pain relief and muscle relaxation. It works by blocking the effect of a natural chemical messenger called cyclo-oxygenase (COX) enzymes that make another chemical (prostaglandins) and work on the central nervous system (CNS) to relax muscles, relieving pain and stiffness caused by muscle strains and sprains. It may cause common side effects such as nausea, vomiting, heartburn, stomach pain, diarrhoea, and loss of appetite. Before taking this medicine, you should tell your doctor if you are allergic to any of its components or if you are pregnant/breastfeeding, and about all the medications you are taking and pre-existing medical conditions.

Drug-Drug Interactions

Blood thinners (like warfarin): May increase the risk of serious stomach bleeding when taken together.
Other NSAIDs or pain relievers: Increases the risk of severe stomach irritation and kidney strain.
Blood pressure medications (like ACE inhibitors or diuretics): Acenext Mr Tablet can reduce their blood-pressure-lowering effects and increase the risk of kidney damage.
Lithium: Acenext Mr Tablet can raise lithium levels in the blood to dangerous amounts.

Drug-Food Interactions

Alcohol: Dramatically increases the risk of stomach bleeding, stomach ulcers, and severe liver damage.
Caffeine: Heavy consumption of caffeine-rich drinks may increase stomach irritation caused by this medication.

Drug-Disease Interactions

Inform your doctor if you have a history of the following conditions before taking Acenext Mr Tablet, as it may worsen your condition or cause complications.

Liver disease: Can worsen liver impairment and increase the risk of liver damage.
Stomach ulcers or bleeding disorders: Can trigger severe internal bleeding or worsen existing ulcers.
Asthma: May trigger breathing difficulties or asthma attacks in patients sensitive to pain relievers.
Kidney disease: Can reduce blood flow to the kidneys, potentially worsening kidney function.
