Brufen 200 Tablet is used to relieve mild to moderate pain, inflammation, and fever in adults and paediatrics above 6 months of age. It helps to treat conditions such as menstrual cramps, headache, neuralgia (nerve-related pain), migraine, back pain, dental pain, swelling and stiffness in joints and muscles, cold, and flu symptoms. It contains Ibuprofen, which works by reducing the production of chemicals prostaglandins that are produced at injury sites and cause pain and swelling. Thus, it reduces mild to moderate pain, inflammation, and fever. In some cases, you may experience certain common side effects such as indigestion, diarrhoea, constipation, flatulence (gas), general weakness, and dizziness. Before taking this medicine, you should tell your doctor if you are allergic to any of its components or if you are pregnant/breastfeeding, and about all the medications you are taking and pre-existing medical conditions.

Heel pain for two months may be caused by plantar fasciitis (inflammation of the tissue under the heel), stress fractures, or strain from prolonged standing, excessive walking, or wearing improper footwear. To ease the pain, rest your foot, wear supportive cushioned shoes, do gentle calf and heel stretching exercises daily, and apply an ice pack on the sore area for about 20 minutes. You may also take painkillers like ibuprofen or paracetamol if needed. If your pain does not improve, gets worse, or makes it hard to walk, please consult a doctor for proper evaluation and treatment.
