Candid TV Suspension 60 ml is used to treat fungal skin infections, such as seborrheic dermatitis (dandruff) and tinea versicolor (a small patch of discoloured skin). It contains Clotrimazole and Selenium sulfide, which work by killing fungi and help to relieve itching and flaking of the scalp and remove the dry, scaly particles. Also, it reduces skin damage due to infection by decreasing flaking or scaling of the skin, which helps in new skin formation. Thus, it helps to treat various fungal skin infections and dandruff on the scalp. It may cause common side effects like itching, dryness, redness, swelling, and burning sensation at the application site.
Candid TV is an antifungal lotion containing clotrimazole and selenium sulfide, used to treat conditions like dandruff (seborrheic dermatitis) and tinea versicolor (discoloured patches on the skin). For dandruff, apply it to a wet scalp, gently massage to form a lather, leave it on for about 5 minutes, and then rinse thoroughly; this may be repeated as advised. For tinea versicolor, apply a thin layer to the affected skin and leave it on for the duration recommended by your doctor. Avoid contact with eyes or broken skin, and continue use for the full course; consult a doctor if there is no improvement.
