It contains Clotrimazole and Selenium sulfide, which work by killing fungi and help to relieve itching and flaking of the scalp and remove the dry, scaly particles. Also, it reduces skin damage due to infection by decreasing flaking or scaling of the skin, which helps in new skin formation. About Selsi-TV Suspension

Selsi-TV Suspension is a medicated topical suspension used to treat fungal skin and scalp infections. It is highly effective in managing conditions such as seborrhoeic dermatitis, dandruff, and tinea versicolour. This medication helps clear up the underlying fungal growth while soothing associated itching, redness, and scaling.

For best results, you must use Selsi-TV Suspension consistently and exactly at the frequency recommended by your doctor. It is applied topically to the affected skin or scalp and left on for a short period before being rinsed off completely. To support your treatment, keeping the affected areas clean and dry and wearing loose, breathable clothing can help prevent the fungus from thriving.

While using Selsi-TV Suspension, some people may experience mild, temporary side effects like dry skin, local irritation, or slight hair discolouration. These issues usually resolve on their own, but you should consult your doctor immediately if you experience severe burning, swelling, or blistering.

Before you start using Selsi-TV Suspension, talk to your doctor if you have open wounds, broken skin, or severe skin inflammation. Do not use this medicine if you have a known allergy to any of its ingredients.

Using other topical products or harsh chemical treatments on the same area may interfere with Selsi-TV Suspension or increase skin irritation. If you are pregnant, planning to become pregnant, or breastfeeding, consult your healthcare provider before using this product to ensure it is safe for you.

How Selsi-TV Suspension Works

Selsi-TV Suspension contains two active medicines that work together to treat fungal skin infections, dandruff, and related skin conditions. Clotrimazole is an antifungal medicine that works by damaging the protective cell membrane of fungi. This stops the fungi from growing and multiplying, helping to clear the infection and relieve symptoms such as itching, redness, and irritation. Selenium sulfide is an antifungal and anti-seborrhoeic agent. It helps control the growth of Malassezia, a type of yeast associated with dandruff, seborrhoeic dermatitis, and certain skin discolouration conditions. It also slows the excessive shedding and replacement of skin cells, helping to reduce flaking, scaling, and itching. Together, these medicines help eliminate fungal infections, reduce dandruff and scaling, relieve itching and irritation, and promote healthier skin and scalp.
