Care 9 NVP Tablet used to control nausea and vomiting during pregnancy. It helps treat morning sickness (nauseous feeling during the first trimester) in pregnant women. It contains Methylcobalamin, L Methylfolate Calcium, Pyridoxal 5 Phosphate (vitamin B6) and Doxylamine Succinate. Methylcobalamin and L Methylfolate Calcium can provide essential nutrients during pregnancy. Doxylamine succinate belongs to the class of antihistamines that work by blocking the natural chemical (histamine) in the body, thereby preventing nausea and vomiting. Pyridoxine/vitamin B6 deficiency may cause nausea and vomiting during pregnancy. Pyridoxal-5-phosphate works by increasing the level of vitamin B6 in the body. Thus, it helps treat nausea and vomiting during pregnancy.

How does the drug interact with Care 9 NVP Tablet:
Taking Care 9 NVP Tablet with tranylcypromine can increase the risk of serotonin syndrome(a condition in which a chemical called serotonin increase in your body).

How to manage the interaction:
There may be a possibility of interaction between Care 9 NVP Tablet and Tranylcypromine, but can be taken together if prescribed by a doctor. However, consult a doctor if you experience confusion, hallucination(seeing and hearing things that do not exist), fits, blood pressure alteration, increased heart rate, fever, excessive sweating, shivering or shaking, blurred vision, pain in the muscles or stiffness, incoordination, stomach cramps, nausea, vomiting, and diarrhea. Do not discontinue any medications without consulting your doctor.

There may be a possibility of interaction between Potassium citrate and Care 9 NVP Tablet, but it can be taken if prescribed by a doctor. However, if you experience severe stomach pain, bloating, sudden lightheadedness or dizziness, nausea, vomiting (especially with blood), decreased hunger, or dark, tarry stools, consult the doctor immediately.
