Dexamethasone Tablet 100's is used to treat inflammatory conditions such as allergic disorders and skin conditions. It is also used to treat ulcerative colitis, arthritis, lupus, psoriasis and breathing disorders. Furthermore, it is approved for the treatment of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) in adult and adolescent patients (aged 12 years and older with a body weight of at least 40 kg) who require supplemental oxygen therapy. It contains Dexamethasone, which works by blocking the release of substances that cause inflammation. Some people may experience side effects like weight gain, indigestion, headache, dizziness, rash, fluid retention (swelling in your hands or ankles), sleep problems, mild mood changes and nausea. Inform the doctor if you have an infection that affects the whole body or if you need to have a vaccination, particularly live virus vaccines.
