Emtec 25mg Injection is used in the treatment of peptic ulcer, indigestion or dyspepsia, heartburn and acid reflux. It belongs to a group of medicines called gastrointestinal agents which help decrease the amount of acid in the stomach. Some of the common side effects include headache, diarrhoea, stomach ache or abdominal pain, constipation, and feeling sick.

एमटेक 25mg इंजेक्शन गैस्ट्रोइंटेस्टाइनल एजेंट नामक दवाओं के एक समूह से संबंधित है। इसका उपयोग पेट के अल्सर, अपच, नाराज़गी, एसिड भाटा, गैस्ट्रो-ओसोफेगल रिफ्लक्स रोग (GORD) और अपच के इलाज और रोकथाम के लिए किया जाता है। यह पेट में एसिड की मात्रा को कम करके काम करता है।

Coadministration of Rilpivirine with Emtec 25mg Injection can reduce the acidity levels in the stomach and also decrease the effectiveness of Rilpivirine.

How to manage the interaction:
Although taking Emtec 25mg Injection together with Rilpivirine can possibly result in an interaction, they can be taken together if prescribed by your doctor. To reduce the chance of interaction, take Emtec 25mg Injection at least 12 hours before or 4 hours after taking rilpivirine. Do not discontinue any medicine without consulting a doctor.
