Flonida 1% Cream is used to treat skin conditions such as keratosis (skin growths), some simple skin cancers, keratoacanthoma (a firm nodule on the skin), and Bowen’s disease. It may also be helpful in the treatment of superficial basal cell carcinoma. It contains Fluorouracil, which destroys cancerous and pre-cancerous cells while having little effect on normal cells. Common side effects of Flonida 1% Cream are nausea, dizziness, headache, and taste disturbance.
I am suffering from a keratosis nodule on my skin and I am worried about this problem. What treatment or medicine may help reduce it and is this condition serious?

A keratosis nodule on the skin can happen due to thickened skin growth, sun damage, irritation, or other skin-related conditions. Some keratosis lesions are harmless and slow-growing, while others may need proper examination to confirm the exact type. The appearance, size, colour, pain, itching, or bleeding from the nodule helps doctors understand whether it is a simple skin growth or something needing further attention. Avoid scratching, cutting, or trying home removal methods because this may irritate the skin or increase infection risk. Doctors may advise creams, freezing treatment, minor procedures, or removal depending on the type and severity of the lesion. Moisturising the skin and protecting it from excess sun exposure may also help prevent irritation. Treatment should only be selected after proper skin examination because different keratosis conditions require different approaches. Please consult a skin specialist if the nodule grows quickly, changes colour, becomes painful, bleeds, develops crusting, or does not heal, as proper evaluation may be needed to rule out more serious skin conditions.
