  • Hormone-related medicine (Mifepristone)
    Potential effect: May increase the risk of side effects by altering the action of Floricot Tablet .
  • Hormone medicine used to control urine and bleeding (Desmopressin)
    Potential effect: May increase the risk of hyponatremia, a condition caused by low sodium levels in the blood.
  • Immunity-lowering medicines (Adalimumab, Fingolimod)
    • May significantly increase the risk of serious infections due to immune suppression.
  • Cholesterol-lowering medicine (Bempedoic acid)
    Potential effect: May increase the risk of tissue injury near muscles and joints.
  • Antibiotic medicines (Ciprofloxacin, Gatifloxacin)
    Potential effect: May increase the risk of tendinitis (tendon inflammation) and tendon rupture  (tear of a tendon).

Drug-Food interaction:

  • Alcohol and St. John’s wort: Avoid alcohol and St. John’s wort (an antidepressant herbal supplement) while taking Floricot Tablet , as they may interfere with the medicine’s effect or increase side effects.

Drug-Disease interaction: Inform your doctor if you are suffering from any of these conditions before taking Floricot Tablet .

How does the drug interact with Floricot Tablet:
Using desmopressin together with Floricot Tablet may increase the risk of hyponatremia( a condition associated with low levels of salt in the blood).

How to manage the interaction:
Taking Desmopressin with Floricot Tablet is not recommended, but it can be taken if prescribed by a doctor. However, if you experience loss of appetite, nausea, vomiting, headache, lethargy, irritability, difficulty concentrating, memory impairment, confusion, muscle spasm, weakness, unsteadiness, decreased urination and sudden weight gain contact your doctor immediately. Do not discontinue any medications without consulting a doctor.
How does the drug interact with Floricot Tablet:
When Floricot Tablet is taken with Mifepristone, it can increase the risk of side effects.

How to manage the interaction:
Taking Mifepristone with Floricot Tablet is not recommended, but it can be taken if prescribed by the doctor. Do not stop using any medication without consulting a doctor.

How does the drug interact with Floricot Tablet:
Taking Floricot Tablet with Leflunomide can increase the risk of side effects.

How to manage the interaction:
Co-administration of Leflunomide with Floricot Tablet can possibly result in an interaction, but it can be taken if your doctor has advised it. However, if you notice infection, fever, chills, diarrhea, sore throat, muscle aches, shortness of breath, weight loss, pain, or burning during urination - contact your doctor immediately. Do not stop using any medications without a doctor's advice.
How does the drug interact with Floricot Tablet:
Levofloxacin can induce tendinitis (inflammation of the thick fibrous cords that attach muscle to bone. These cords are called tendons) and tendon rupture, and the risk is exacerbated when coupled with Floricot Tablet.

How to manage the interaction:
Co-administration of levofloxacin with Floricot Tablet can result in an interaction, it can be taken if your doctor has advised it. If you experience pain, swelling, or inflammation in a tendon location such as the back of the ankle, shoulder, biceps, hand, or thumb, call your doctor immediately. You should also refrain from exercising or using the affected region. Do not stop using any medication without consulting your doctor.
How does the drug interact with Floricot Tablet:
Co-administration of Norfloxacin with Floricot Tablet can increase the risk or severity of tendinitis (inflammation of the tendons attached to the muscle and bones). The risk is increased in the elderly and patients with a history of kidney, heart, and/or lung transplant.

How to manage the interaction:
Taking Norfloxacin with Floricot Tablet together can result in an interaction, it can be taken if your doctor has advised it. However, if you experience Stiff joints, joint pains, or swelling contact a doctor immediately. Do not discontinue any medications without consulting a doctor.
How does the drug interact with Floricot Tablet:
Combining Floricot Tablet with Gemifloxacin can increase the risk of tendinopathy.

How to manage the interaction:
Co-administration of Floricot Tablet with Gemifloxacin can possibly result in an interaction, but it can be taken if your doctor has advised it. This risk is higher if you are also taking oral corticosteroids. Contact your doctor immediately if you experience tendinitis (Inflammation to muscle present in hand), tendon rupture, prolonged disability, pain, swelling, or inflammation. Do not discontinue any medications without consulting your doctor.
How does the drug interact with Floricot Tablet:
Taking Bempedoic acid with Floricot Tablet can increase the risk of tissue injury near muscles and joints.

How to manage the interaction:
Although there is an interaction, Bempedoic acid can be taken with Floricot Tablet if prescribed by the doctor. However, if you experience pain, swelling, or inflammation in joints, consult a doctor. Exercising or using the injured area should also be avoided Do not discontinue any medications without consulting a doctor.
How does the drug interact with Floricot Tablet:
Taking bupropion with Floricot Tablet can increase the risk of causing seizures(fits).

How to manage the interaction:
Co-administration of bupropion along with Floricot Tablet can lead to an interaction, but it can be taken if recommended by a doctor. While taking these medications, you should avoid tasks that need mental attention, such as driving or operating dangerous machinery. Do not discontinue any medications without consulting a doctor.
