FUNGITOP F GEL is used to reduce swelling/inflammation, itching and redness caused due to certain fungal skin infections. It contains Fluocinolone acetonide and Miconazole,which kills fungi and works by preventing the release of certain chemical messengers in the body that cause redness, itching and swelling. Some people may experience side effects such as dry skin, skin peeling, increased hair growth, pimples, patches of pale skin, itching, irritation or burning sensation at the site of application. Before using this medicine, you should tell your doctor if you are allergic to any of its components or if you are pregnant/breastfeeding, and about all the medications you are taking and pre-existing medical conditions.

Drug-Drug Interaction: FUNGITOP F GEL may interact with anticoagulants (warfarin, dicumarol, anisindione).

Drug-Food Interaction: FUNGITOP F GEL may interact with grapefruit and grapefruit juice. Thus, avoid intake of grapefruit juice while using FUNGITOP F GEL as it may lead to adverse effects. Also, inform your doctor if you are taking any herbal supplements, vitamins or OTC medicines.

Drug-Disease Interaction: If you have rosacea (redness and often red, small, pus-filled bumps on the face), acne, perioral dermatitis (red, bumpy rash around the mouth), any skin infection, psoriasis, diabetes, liver or adrenal gland problems, inform your doctor before taking FUNGITOP F GEL.
