I have gum inflammation and pain. Please suggest suitable medicines or treatment options for relief.

Gum inflammation and pain are commonly caused by plaque buildup, poor oral hygiene, gum infection, vitamin deficiency, smoking, hard brushing, or food particles getting stuck near the gums. The gums may become swollen, red, tender, or may bleed while brushing. Maintaining good oral hygiene is very important for relief and healing. Brush gently twice daily with a soft toothbrush, clean between the teeth carefully, and rinse your mouth after meals. Warm salt water gargles 2-3 times a day can help reduce swelling and discomfort. Avoid tobacco, smoking, very spicy foods, and very hot drinks if they increase irritation. Using an antiseptic mouthwash for a short period may help reduce gum infection and inflammation, but it is best used under dental advice. Mild pain-relief medicines may help temporarily if the pain is significant and you have no medical restrictions for using them. Eating foods rich in vitamin C and maintaining good hydration may also support gum health. However, if you have severe swelling, pus, fever, persistent bleeding, loose teeth, bad smell from the mouth, or pain lasting more than a few days, you should consult a dentist. Professional dental cleaning may sometimes be needed if plaque or tartar buildup is the cause. Early treatment usually helps prevent worsening gum disease and improves comfort quickly.
I have had gum bleeding and tooth pain while eating for the past 4-5 months and want relief as soon as possible. What treatment would you suggest?

Gum bleeding and tooth pain while eating for several months are commonly caused by gum infection, plaque and tartar buildup, tooth decay, sensitive teeth, or early gum disease. Since your symptoms have been present for 4-5 months, it is important to visit a dentist for a proper examination and professional cleaning, because medicines alone may not solve the problem if tartar has collected around the teeth and gums. Treatment may include dental scaling (cleaning), treatment for cavities if present, and medicines or medicated mouthwash if there is infection or gum inflammation. In the meantime, brush gently twice daily with a soft toothbrush, clean the tongue regularly, floss carefully, and rinse your mouth after meals. Avoid tobacco, smoking, very sugary foods, and extremely hot or cold foods if they increase the pain. Eating foods rich in vitamin C, drinking enough water, and maintaining good oral hygiene can help improve gum health. If you notice swelling, pus, loose teeth, severe pain, fever, or difficulty chewing, seek dental care promptly because untreated gum disease can worsen over time. Early treatment usually gives very good relief and helps prevent further damage to the teeth and gums.
