Histonate Plus Expectorant is used to treat cough. It contains Salbutamol and Guaifenesin, which relaxes muscles and widens the airways. Thereby, it makes breathing easier. It works by increasing the volume of fluid in the airways, reduce the stickiness of mucus, and helps to remove it from the airways. Some people may experience side effects such as nausea, vomiting, drowsiness, stomach upset, headache, dizziness, skin rash, tremor, restlessness, tension and rapid heartbeat. Before taking this medicine, you should tell your doctor if you are allergic to any of its components or if you are pregnant/breastfeeding, and about all the medications you are taking and pre-existing medical conditions. Drink plenty of fluids while taking this medicine to loosen mucus.

If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, it is advised to inform your doctor before using Histonate Plus Expectorant 110 ml. Histonate Plus Expectorant 110 ml is not recommended for children below 2 years of age, as the safety and effectiveness were not established. If you have diabetes, regular monitoring of blood sugar levels is recommended while taking Histonate Plus Expectorant 110 ml.
