Lobacor 5 Tablet is used to treat epilepsy (fits) and severe anxiety over a short period. Also, it is used in combination with other medicines to treat schizophrenia (a mental illness). It prevents fits by stabilizing the electrical activity of nerve cells in the brain. Also, it calms nerve cells and helps in reducing anxiety and induces sleep. Some people may experience side effects such as restlessness, irritability, drowsiness, constipation, aggressive behaviour, tiredness or breathing problems. Drug-Food Interaction: Lobacor 5 Tablet may interact with alcohol. Therefore, avoid intake of alcohol while taking Lobacor 5 Tablet as it may increase side effects such as drowsiness, dizziness or difficulty in concentrating.
