Metagard Tablet is used to treat angina pectoris (chest pain caused by coronary disease) in adult patients in combination with other medications. It contains Trimetazidine, which protects the heart cells from the effects of a reduced oxygen supply during an episode of angina. It may cause common side effects such as dizziness, headache, diarrhoea, vomiting, indigestion, abdominal pain, and nausea. Before starting Metagard Tablet , inform your doctor if you are pregnant, breastfeeding, taking any other medicines or have pre-existing medical conditions.
