Microcid-SR Capsule is used to relieve symptoms caused by osteoarthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, and rheumatoid arthritis, such as stiffness, swelling and joint pain. It is also used to treat acute gouty arthritis, musculoskeletal pain, lower back pain, period pain, and pain following joint and bone surgery. It contains Indomethacin, which works by reducing the production of prostaglandins (chemicals) that are produced at injury sites and cause pain and swelling. In some cases, you may experience certain common side effects, such as headache, dizziness, diarrhoea, vomiting, and constipation. Before taking this medicine, you should tell your doctor if you are allergic to any of its components or if you are pregnant/breastfeeding, and about all the medications you are taking and pre-existing medical conditions.
