Composition:सोडियम एमिनोसैलिसिलेट-1000एमजी

Prescription Medicine

Monopas 1000 mg Tablet is used in the treatment of Tuberculosis (TB) in combination with other medicines. It works by exerting its bacteriostatic effect against Mycobacterium tuberculosis by competing with PABA for enzymes involved in folate synthesis, thereby suppressing bacterial growth and reproduction, ultimately leading to cell death. The common side effects may include nausea, vomiting, diarrhoea and abdominal pain.

Vomiting

Loss of appetite

Stomach Pain

Drink water or other clear fluids.
To prevent worsening of pain, limit intake of tea, coffee, or alcohol.
Include bland foods like rice, toast, crackers, and rice in your diet.
Avoid lying down immediately after eating as it may cause indigestion or heartburn.
