New Anafortan Tablet

New Anafortan Tablet is used in the treatment of dysmenorrhoea (irregular or painful periods). The detailed uses of New Anafortan Tablet are as follows:

• Menstrual Pain Relief: New Anafortan Tablet is effective in alleviating abdominal pain or cramps experienced during dysmenorrhoea.
• Antispasmodic Action: New Anafortan Tablet helps relieve muscle spasms in the gastrointestinal tract, which can ease symptoms of conditions like irritable bowel syndrome (IBS).
• Abdominal Pain Management: New Anafortan Tablet is used to reduce abdominal pain, cramps, and stomach discomfort caused by blockages in the intestines, bile ducts (biliary colic), and urinary tract (renal colic) due to gallstones.
• Additional Uses: New Anafortan Tablet also helps relieve spasms associated with diarrhoea and dysentery (severe diarrhoea with mucus and blood in stool).

• New Anafortan Tablet can be taken with or without food, as advised by your doctor.
• Follow your doctor's instructions on the dosage and timing of this medication.
• Swallow New Anafortan Tablet as a whole with a glass of water.
• Do not crush, chew, or break it.

New Anafortan Tablet is primarily used to treat dysmenorrhoea (irregular or painful periods/menses). It also helps relieve abdominal pain and spasms associated with conditions such as irritable bowel syndrome, biliary colic (bile duct blockage), renal colic (urinary tract blockage), intestinal colic, diarrhoea, and dysentery. It contains Camylofin (an antispasmodic) and Paracetamol (an analgesic and antipyretic). Paracetamol helps decrease inflammation caused by dysmenorrhea. It works by blocking a chemical messenger responsible for transmitting pain sensations. Camylofin helps block the activity of certain natural substances in the body that cause pain. Together, they effectively reduce pain and spasms.

Do not take New Anafortan Tablet if you are allergic to any of its ingredients. Avoid taking more than the daily prescribed dose of New Anafortan Tablet, as it may cause liver damage or allergic reactions like mouth, face, and throat swelling, difficulty breathing, skin rash, or itching. Always keep your doctor informed about any medications you are currently taking, including over-the-counter medicines, vitamins, or herbal supplements, to avoid potential side effects or interactions. Let your doctor know if you have any medical conditions, such as liver or kidney disease, a severe infection, asthma, anaemia, glaucoma (high eye pressure), an enlarged prostate, urinary retention, or heart problems, before starting this medication. Do not take New Anafortan Tablet during pregnancy or breastfeeding, as it may cause harm to the baby. New Anafortan Tablet is not recommended for children under 12 years. Avoid consuming alcohol while taking New Anafortan Tablet, as it may cause severe dizziness and increase the risk of liver damage. New Anafortan Tablet may cause dizziness or blurred vision, so avoid driving or performing any other activity that requires concentration after taking this medication. 

• Include more glucosamine, chondroitin sulfate, Vitamin D, and calcium-enriched supplements. Additionally, turmeric and fish oils can help reduce pain and inflammation in the tissues.
• Please avoid heavy exercise, as it may exacerbate your abdominal pain. Instead, you can do stretching, low-impact aerobic exercise (like walking on the treadmill, bike riding, and swimming), and simple forms of yoga. You can also strengthen your muscles by lifting light weights and engaging in regular muscle stretching.
• Your sitting posture is essential, especially when you have a pain and inflammation condition. Try to sit as little as possible and only for a short time (10-15 min). Use a back support, such as a rolled-up towel, to minimise pain at the back of your neck. Keep your knees and hips at a right angle.
• You can consume caffeine, but not too much, as high caffeine intake may cause irritability, poor sleep, and menstrual cramps.
