It is used to treat amoebiasis, chlamydiosis, giardia infection, trichomonas infection, vaginal, urinary tract, intestinal and post-operative infections. It contains Ornidazole, which works by damaging the DNA of the infection-causing agent and inhibiting its growth. Thereby, it treats infections. In some cases, it may cause common side effects such as nausea, vomiting, headache, dizziness, and taste disturbances.
